It was my second Easter.
First Arthur and I had to pose for pictures. We didn’t cooperate very well. Mom is crazy with the camera all of the time. Doesn’t she know it just slows things down?

I don’t have long fur so mom says I get cold easy. I don’t know that I get cold easy except that it gets cold outside, I go outside and so I am cold too…easy.
Anyway, when I come inside after playing in the cold I go right to the wood burning stove and curl up tight on my bed with a blanket tucking my nose.
The last week or so Arthur and I have been living on the blanket in front of the fire. Mom says it is the only time Arthur and I have been getting along…when we are sleeping.
A Big Cold came though and froze us out. It got real cold fast and stayed there for over a week.
Boy am I glad mom got me a new jacket.

Now instead of coming inside after play and curling up in front of the stove, I come in excited and still wanting to play. I love it!
When The Big Cold came we had frozen rain.
See?
Mom was upset. She says if she is going to freeze she should at least get some snow out of it and have some fun.
I was ready with my jacket.

I ran around the yard and played with my ballie. It was fun. I felt good when I went inside and did not live by the fire.

I even helped mom every night go out and turn on the faucets.
I love my new jacket, although I could do without the hood. Mom says it keeps my ears warm. I just keep shaking it off.
Baby it’s cold outside.
That’s ok.
Bring it on!

I am not sure what that is all about. People seem to think on a certain day they get a whole new year. It just seems like another day to me but if there are treats I am there. Continue reading
There is so much to do to prepare for Christmas and Santa’s arrival. Continue reading
Mom says this is a time for family so no blogging today. Everyone should be with family and fiends doing things they enjoy like getting treats and going for walks.
I just wanted to say Merry Christmas. It’s been so great so far, and I have a lot to tell you. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. Can’t wait to see what Santa brings!

Arthur and I want to ask everyone…
“Life is a very special kind of thing, not just for a chosen few.
But for each and every living breathing thing. Not just me and you.
So in your Christmas prayers this year, …
… say a prayer for the wind, and the water, and the wood,
and those who live there, too.”
-John Denver
Merry Christmas!
Apparently Christmas does have presents. It seems only for cats.
Arthur got his Christmas present early. It was a big box which Arthur liked…the box that is. He also liked helping mom put it together. He went nuts running all over it and scratching it and swatting at the dangling toys. It got me all excited watching him so I joined in and jumped at him and nipped.

Mom got mad and told me to let Arthur have his fun. So I ended up in my room. I don’t get it. She laughed when Arthur did it.
I had to sit and watch.
When it was all finished mom let me out.
She said Arthur got this particular present because of me.

I don’t know how she figures that.
